Bottom Bind - American Pilsner (5%)

Bottom Bind is an American Pilsner brewed in collaboration with our friends at the Selway Bitterroot Frank Church Foundation (SBFC) and in honor of the 60th anniversary of the Wilderness Act. SBFC is a local non-profit organization committed to the stewardship of the Selway Bitterroot and Frank Church wilderness areas through ground work, public education, and partnerships. The beer's namesake, Bottom Bind, is a logging term known by wilderness stewards that refers to when the compression is on the bottom of the log, while the tension is on the top. This orientation of tension is a great relief when clearing logs and debris during trail work, as it makes for much easier cutting than top binds. It's the same relief we hope you find when enjoying this American Pilsner, brewed with the best German Pilsner malts and gentle hopping of Pacific Northwest Chinook before being lagered for over 6 weeks.
