Long White Cloud - DDH New England Double IPA (8.5%)

Aotearoa, the native Māori name for New Zealand, roughly translates to ""Land of the Long White Cloud"". These cloud formations over the islands served as a navigational beacon for Polynesian Navigators. As curious brewers, New Zealand serves as a beacon for inspiration through the hard work and dedication of hops farmers that have been tirelessly cultivating new and exciting varietals for decades. This new beer showcases one of the newest and most exciting NZ hop varietals known as Nectaron. Brewed with an incredibly pale and vibrant base, we paired Nectaron with Citra and Citra Spectrum at over 8 lbs per barrel throughout the brewing process to create an ultimate synergy of tropical and exotic hoppy flavors. Aromas of ripe mango flesh, Sauvignon grapes, passionfruit juice, and soft key lime envelop the air, enticing a sip filled with flavors of blissfully tropical mango, passionfruit, nectarine, Sauvignon grape, key lime, and pineapple. Lingering sweet fruit notes are gently swept off the plate, finishing as soft as the beer's name suggests.
