Whatkū Wahine - New England Style Triple India Pale Ale
(10.5%)

In 1893, through years of dedicated activism of the
Maori women, New Zealand became the first self
governing country in the world where all women could
vote in parliamentary elections, setting a new global
precedent for women's suffrage. This massive beer pays
homage to the New Zealand women, Wahine Maori, who
participated in the suffrage movement that inspired the
world. Brewed with pale malts, heaps of oats, and a
touch of wheat, this beer was then hopped exclusively
with New Zealand hops (Nelson Sauvin, Rakau,
Motueka, and Nectaron) at a whopping 8 lbs per barrel. Pouring a milky pale yellow, Whatkū Wahine emanates
incredibly massive exotic and tropical notes of mango
lychee, passion fruit, kiwi, sauvignon blanc, and key lime
citrus notes with a full and soft finish.
